Barnes Bullets 165 Grain TTSX Ammo Details

This 300 WSM cartridge from Barnes’ VOR-TX line of ammunition features the TTSX BT projectile. Just like the original TSX, this bullet is made entirely of copper. As the result it fires very clean, is California compliant, and retains as much as 100 percent of its weight as it penetrates deeply. This bullet produces four exceedingly sharp cutting petals as it opens up within a soft target, giving it the devastating terminal performance necessary to stop game in its tracks.

The TTSX BT is an extremely accurate projectile as well. The new addition to its design, its polymer tip, not only acts to initiate rapid mushrooming upon impact -- it further serves to streamline its aerodynamic profile. This bullet also sports pressure lowering grooves cut into its shank, as well as a boat tail design which heightens its ballistic coefficient to give it a flat and fast trajectory. This round’s new brass casing is further reloadable.
