This package contains 20 rounds of Hornady TAP LE .300 Win. Mag ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 178 grain A-Max Match projectile. Each projectile is topped with a polymer tip for increased accuracy and reliable terminal expansion. Hornady 300 Win Mag TAP loads were engineered for police marksmen needing higher velocities, flatter trajectories, and more terminal energy than .308 Winchester sniper loads were capable of delivering.
The specially designed A-Max Match bullet provides consistency in terminal and ballistic performance. Utilizing innovative propellants, these loads offer increased temperature stability. When teamed with the relatively heavy 178 grain weight and long profile of the A-Max, the result is a highly increased ballistic coefficient and higher sectional density. In basic terms, that means unmatched accuracy, better barrier penetration, and increased energy transfer and soft tissue damage at long ranges.
