Federal states that terminal performance minimum velocity is 1,400 fps. The bullet’s 0.663 G1 BC indicates that it travels at least that fast until 1,262 yards, at which range it also conserves 923 ft lbs kinetic energy. All that’s to say that this is a long-range hunting cartridge in full!
