Sellier & Bellot Ammunition 147 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

These .300 Blackout cartridges from Sellier & Bellot (S&B) carry a lower cost than traditional loads and are perfect for high volume drills and recreational plinking. Each round is built using a reloadable brass casing that has a non-corrosive Boxer primer installed at its base. The head of the case is crimped to the rolled divot of its full metal jacket (FMJ) projectile in order to prevent setback and preserve accuracy. Each FMJ bullet weighs in at 147 grains which is standard to the relatively new caliber and offers familiar flat shooting out to conventional distances.

While the profile matches AAC's original load criteria for the caliber, these FMJs come from a new design rather than existing stocks of .30 caliber projectiles. This technique makes .300 AAC BLK more affordable than ever before. Sellier & Bellot has a rich history which dates back to the early 19th century where they started by producing percussion caps. Today they are known worldwide for well-crafted hunting ammo, match-oriented sporting cartridges, and obscure calibers made for antique rifles.
