Underwater. Outer space. Certain jurisdictions that have outlawed the use of lead-core hunting projectiles. There are many places where you can’t hunt using conventional 300 AAC Blackout ammunition – and Remington Core-Lokt Copper lets you hunt in one of them!

This round’s 120 grain solid copper hollow point receives many blessings by virtue of being lead free. It keeps rifling and meat both cleaner. It displays excellent accuracy, as it lacks imperfections that might otherwise have deteriorated its balance (0.251 G1 BC equals nearly three-quarters velocity retention at 200 yards). The monometal bullet is also a great deal tougher than the traditional lead-core/copper-jacket arrangement, and exercises above-average weight retention for it.

But the SCHP doesn’t just excavate a deep channel into its target. It kills even harder thanks to its broad expansion, which takes the form of multiple sharp cutting petals that gouge and slice against flesh.
