This is .30-378 Weatherby Mag. 130gr. Barnes TTSX Ammo. The .30-378 Weatherby Magnum was initially a wildcat cartridge developed by Roy Weatherby in 1959 at the request of the United States Army. This white-hot cartridge is based on the .378 necked down to .30 caliber and packed with powder. Originally billed as the world’s fastest .30 caliber cartridge, it will push a .30 caliber bullet more than 3,500 feet per second. Reintroduced as a Weatherby production cartridge in 1996.The new Tipped TSX bullet features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat’s-eyelash accuracy and “dead right there” performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts ballistic coefficient and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion. This ammunition is new production, non-corrosive, in boxer primed, reloadable brass cases. This ammo comes packed in 20 round boxes.
