You don’t need a big bang to bag a big buck! All you need is a box of Hornady’s Subsonic 30-30 Win ammunition. Loaded with the Sub-X bullet, this ammo is all about stealth.

The Sub-X bullet is specifically engineered to deliver a lethal wound channel at subsonic velocities. Its flat polymer tip doesn’t just optimize the Sub-X for use in lever-action rifles. The Flex Tip also wedges deep down into the Sub-X’s nose cavity following impact, at which point the bullet’s long radial grooves guide wide terminal expansion. The Sub-X is designed to expand even if it strikes its target at a velocity as low as 900 fps. If it hits much faster than that, its InterLock ring works to keep the Sub-X’s core and jacket from splintering apart from one another.

Like all Hornady ammunition, Subsonic rounds are brass-cased, Boxer-primed, and great for subsequent handloading. This ammo is also loaded with low-flash propellant to help preserve your vision while you’re hunting during dusk or nighttime.
