This 30-06 cartridge by Federal features Berger’s innovative Hybrid Hunter projectile. Whereas most bullets will implement either a secant ogive or tangent ogive shape, the Hybrid is true to its name by combining both. It does so while suffering from neither of the shapes’ shortcomings -- this is a bullet that is markedly less sensitive to its seating’s depth, while at the same time exhibits a very high ballistic coefficient which grants it better resistance to cross winds, a flatter trajectory, and the ability to inflict greater energy at the moment of impact.
