20rds – 280 Rem Federal 140gr. Trophy Copper Ammo

Federal Ammunition 140 Grain Solid Copper Hollow Point (SCHP) Ammo Details

This 280 Rem cartridge features Federal’s 140 grain Trophy Copper projectile. Save for its polymer tip, this bullet is made entirely of copper alloy, so it’ll be a good friend to you while you’re hunting in California. The monolithic bullet is also able to retain as much as 99 percent of its weight as it burrows through rugged game, and further makes the issue of lead fouling in the bore entirely moot.

This bullet boasts excellent terminal performance, the kind that creates the gaping wound cavity necessary for dropping larger game where they stand. Upon impact the Trophy Copper’s tip drives downward, initiating massive expansion. It’s also an accurate bullet thanks to its symmetrical meplat, boat tail design, and grooved shank.

This round features a nickel plated brass casing, giving it reduced friction for smooth cycling and increased resistance to corrosion. Federal’s Boxer primer always does its job as intended, and their propellant burns clean to treat your rifle gently.
