20rds – 270 Win Federal 130gr. Trophy Copper Ammo Details

You don’t just want a 270 Win cartridge that will put any deer down for the count. You also want one with a lead-free bullet – either because you like protecting the environment, or because you don’t want a game warden to serve you a ticket for hunting on public lands. No matter your motives, you’ll get just what you want from Federal Premium Trophy Copper ammunition.

This cartridge is loaded with none other than the 130 grain Trophy Copper bullet. It defeats frontal air resistance with the low-drag performance of its sharp polymer tip and boat tail, and its absence of any abnormalities in its weight distribution keeps it well balanced in flight. The Trophy Copper’s tip isn’t just accuracy-enhancing. It also catalyzes terminal expansion once impact drives it into the underlying hollow point nose cavity. And because copper alloy is much tougher than a conventional lead core and gilding metal jacket, the Trophy Copper easily retains 99% of its weight as it sinks deep into a quarry’s tough body.

Nickel-plated brass cases are always a welcome sight. They reduce friction to facilitate cycling, and protect against the corrosion that always awaits in damp outdoorsy places. This Minnesota-made ammo is reloadable! G1 BC: 0.459
