This 270 Weatherby Magnum cartridge by Federal features its manufacturer’s 130 grain Trophy Bonded Tip. The bullet begins with a bright orange polymer tip, which is perfectly streamlined to deliver both a flat trajectory and superior energy upon impact. Upon hitting its target the tip jams into the core to trigger instantaneous expansion, which is promoted by the bullet’s exterior skiving. The bullet tunnels deeply as well thanks to its sturdy, solid shank and its bonded jacket and core. The Trophy Bonded Tip further features pressure relieving grooves that are machined into its shank to make it even more accurate.
