This 257 Weatherby Magnum cartridge from Hornady’s Precision Hunter line of ammunition is one that truly lives up to its name. It is precise not only because of the supporting components that make a Hornady round a Hornady, but also its 110 grain Extremely Low Drag - eXpanding (ELD-X) projectile. The bullet’s tip is a proprietary Heat Shield, a pointed column of special polymer which won’t melt in the least when subjected to the fastest muzzle velocities. The ELD-X further sports Hornady’s Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket with virtually no deviation in its concentricity, the ideal boat tail for its caliber, and an aerodynamic secant ogive profile.

The ELD-X delivers stellar terminal performance no matter the distance it must cover as well.
