It barely fragments after impact, thus helping it tunnel straight and deep into its target. It expands as it stabs through bone and gristle as well. Everything you want from a hunting bullet!

Fiocchi places this round’s G1 ballistic coefficient at 0.340 (24” test barrel). That means it’ll hold onto at least 1,000 ft lbs of kinetic energy at any point inside of 375 yards, which is considered to be within the 243's normal effective range for whitetail.
