“Fiocchi Hyperformance SBR Enhanced” is a very long name for ammo that is intended for a short-barreled rifle. HOW IRONIC! But you will not find amusement in irony once you have stocked up on this beautiful Missouri-made ammunition. You will be too busy enjoying outstanding accuracy out of your 223 Rem SBR to chuckle about such a thing!

Dang. This round’s bullet? It’s a Sierra MatchKing hollow point boat tail – the most popular and successful competition bullet, hands down. Does it have a voidless swaged lead core and virtually perfectly concentric jacket? You know it does. Does it have a low-drag tapered base and super-streamlined frontal profile? It does. Is it extra heavy at 77 grains, thus enabling it to buck wind drift? You know it to be true, dude!

The MatchKing doesn’t win all of this ammo’s high marks for performance in an SBR. Fiocchi’s select powder promotes extra clean performance, keeps muzzle flash at a minimum, and even reduces recoil to facilitate rapid fire. According to Fiocchi, you can expect a 1,521 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4.5” barrel; 1,866 fps MV out of a 7.0” barrel; 2,227 fps MV 10.5” barrel; 2,469 fps MV 16.0”.
