Hornady Ammunition 35 Grain NTX Ammo Details

You’re the Grim Reaper as far as varmints are concerned. And once you’ve stocked up on Hornady’s Superformance series 223 Rem ammo, the varmints’ life insurance providers are going to start preemptively canceling their policies.

This cartridge is loaded with a lightweight lead-free 35 grain NTX bullet, but that’s not the only reason why it has an unusually high 4,000 fps muzzle velocity. A Superformance round increases muzzle velocity by up to 200 fps – without resulting in extra recoil, muzzle blast or loss of accuracy. The 0.177 G1 ballistic coefficient NTX may lack the inertia it needs to resist wind deflection at long range, but at closer distances its trajectory is going to look flat as a topographical map of Nebraska (which also happens to be where this ammo is made).

The NTX delivers an even flatter trajectory courtesy of its match grade AMP jacket and spearlike polymer tip. On impact the NTX’s tip rams into its frangible copper alloy core, which results in virtually instantaneous explosive fragmentation. In effect, firing the NTX at a varmint is like hitting it with a very small grenade.

This accurate and deadly 223 ammo features the highest-quality brass cases Hornady can make, as well as the clean-sparking Boxer primers and powder your rifle needs to stay accurate and reliable out in the field.
