This round puts the 22 ARC’s phenomenal accuracy on full display with the power of its 88 grain Extremely Low Drag (ELD) Match projectile. By our measure, the bullet’s 2,820 fps muzzle velocity out of a 24” barrel and advertised 2,040 fps velocity at 500 yards give it a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.556 (G7 0.279). The ELD Match pulls those crazy high numbers off thanks to its sharp and deformation-proof Heat Shield tip, thin and perfectly concentric AMP jacket, and low-drag boat tail and secant ogive profile.

Hornady’s highest-grade reloadable brass cases boast extremely uniform wall thickness and concentricity, and they all hold fundamentally identical propellant charges. Match accuracy, right out of the box! Can’t beat that!
