20rds – 10mm Underwood 100gr. Xtreme Defender Ammo

20rds – 10mm Underwood 100gr. Xtreme Defender Ammo Details

You are looking at the future of 10mm self-defense ammunition. Underwood loads these bad boys with 100 grain Xtreme Defender projectiles. They’re abnormally light because they are made entirely out of copper, though they still generate a standard chamber pressure courtesy of their abnormally high 1,825 fps muzzle velocity.

What really makes the Xtreme Defender outstanding is what it does to soft tissue. It doesn’t expand at all. Instead its nose flutes engage, pressurize and jet out soft tissue to create a gaping permanent wound cavity – up to 100% wider than what a standard JHP could manage, and up to 18” deep as well.

Monolithic bullets won’t just eliminate the lead fouling which gradually chips away at accuracy. They will also retain approximately 100% of their weight after passing through barriers like fabric, sheetrock and sheet metal, which ensures they carry enough momentum to plunge deeply into their target. A bullet without a nose cavity is also immune to getting clogged up, so it won’t arrive at its target unable to unleash its cripplingly fast terminal ballistics.

These cartridges aren’t just loaded with Xtreme Defender bullets. They also feature Underwood’s proven low-flash propellant, as well as the Illinois company’s high-quality reloadable nickel-plated brass cases. A fine choice for hunting with a carbine as well!
