200rds – 6.8 SPC Hornady Custom 120gr. SST Ammo
Hornady Ammunition 120 Grain SST Ammo Details
This 6.8 SPC cartridge is from Hornady’s Custom line of ammunition. Outfitted with its Nebraskan manufacturer’s precision crafted components and hand inspected by some of the most meticulous quality assurance specialists in the industry, it’s a round you can trust to deliver no matter the rifle you chamber it in.This cartridge is crowned with Hornady’s 120 grain SST projectile. With its sharp and symmetrical polymer tip, drag resistant secant ogive profile, and boat tail which improves its ability to maintain greater velocity downrange, this bullet is poised to arrive perfectly and whatever target you’d direct it toward. The SST is an expanding bullet, with the tip needed to cause total mushrooming of jacket and core alike. Still, with its mid-body cannelure and InterLock ring the SST’s jacket and core do an admirable job of staying together during penetration for deep, lethal penetration. This is a round you can bank your hunt on, available by the case so you can train with it as well!

My 10y/o grandaughter was trained on my 5.56 AR and switched to the 6.8 just prior to deer season. She took a 150yd plus shot at a 8pt deer and flipped him dead on the spot. Never noticed the caliber switch
