This Buffalo Bore Deer Grenade ammunition is specifically designed to be the world's premier whitetail load for .44 Magnum firearms. Each package contains 200 rounds of factory fresh ammunition. Each cartridge is loaded with a 240 grain “soft cast” jacketed hollow point projectile. With a BHN (Brinell Hardness Number) of 12, these bullets do not necessarily fall into the soft cast category, but could be termed a medium/hard cast. This load is engineered to create devastating damage to deer sized game. It does not offer the same level of penetration as a hard cast flat nosed bullet, but instead delivers about 30 percent of typical penetration. This level of penetration is near perfect for shallow vitals like those in deer, hogs, and medium-sized black bear. These projectiles are properly alloyed, lubed, and gas checked to prevent lead fouling.
This ammunition is reloadable, brass cased, boxer primed, and non-corrosive. Leaving the muzzle at a velocity of 1550 feet per second, each round generates 1280 foot pounds of muzzle energy. These cartridges are loaded to a higher internal pressure than is standard for ammunition of its caliber. This ammo is safe to use in steel firearms in normal operating condition. Do not use in lightweight alloyed revolvers.
