This 308 Win cartridge from Hornady’s Match line of ammunition is made for total accuracy. Its 155 grain ELD Match boasts a consistent ballistic coefficient because its polymer tip’s melting point is approximately 2.5 times greater than what’s typically used for bullets. Aerodynamic heating simply can’t faze it. The ELD Match is no slouch anywhere else, either, with its uniformly dense lead core, impressively evenly layered Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, meticulously angled boat tail base, and super aerodynamic secant ogive profile. Hornady simply didn’t forego an opportunity to optimize the ELD Match’s accuracy by even one iota!
