200rds – 308 Win Hornady BLACK 155gr. A-MAX Ammo Details

When you’re firing your 308 Win rifle – and accuracy is the only thing that matters to you – then Hornady’s A-MAX projectile is certain to put a smile across your accuracy loving face!

The A-MAX is a veritable laundry list of precision enhancing features. It wears Hornady’s Advanced Manufacturing Process jacket, which is drawn to exhibit virtually zero tolerance for variation in thickness and possesses a low-drag secant ogive profile. Within the A-MAX resides a swaged lead core that promotes even greater balance. On its nose sits a ballistically efficient tip, which gracefully parts aside air molecules; at its rear sits a boat tail, which stirs up even less drag.

Once the 155 grain A-MAX achieves a muzzle velocity of 2,850 fps (24” test barrel), its 0.435 G1 ballistic coefficient ensures that it will remain supersonic until nearly 1,100 yards – astounding for so lightweight a .30 cal bullet! But please take care: The A-MAX is not a hunting bullet, as its polymer tip is not designed to press inward and commence terminal expansion on impact. Keep it on the range, brother!

This ammo hails from Nebraska, where it is loaded with the premium supporting components any rifle needs to perform at its very best. Even if you don’t handload, Hornady’s brass cases are too good to leave lying on the ground.
