Barnes Precision Match isn’t the kind of stuff you would use for fast-paced mag dumps. This is the 300 AAC Blackout ammo you chamber when you’re taking your time and making every shot count. It is true match accuracy courtesy of Utah’s finest ammunition manufacturer!This cartridge features Barnes’ own Match Burner: an open tip match boat tail projectile that is solely designed to exhibit a flat and predictable accuracy. The Match Burner will not expand immediately after striking a threat or quarry, and accordingly is not considered optimal for home defense or hunting applications. But once the balanced, streamlined and low-drag OTM BT hits its muzzle velocity of 2,215 fps, its flat trajectory will reach 300 yards in under half a second – and only rise by 11.5” on the way there.
Barnes has a great reputation for loading solid copper bullets, although the Match Burner does contain a traditional lead core. These cartridges’ first-rate reloadable brass cases and competition grade primers both do their parts to support the Match Burner’s excellent performance.
