The 300 AAC Blackout is not a sniper round per se – but any cartridge can exceed your expectations when Ammo Inc. utilizes match grade technology to load it. Here’s the ammo you need when you want to group your shots tighter than a shrew’s whiskers!Many people mistake this round’s 155 grain hollow point boat tail for an expanding hunting bullet. Don’t be one of them – this bullet will not mushroom or otherwise significantly increase in diameter during penetration! The bullet possesses an aperture in its tip because molten lead was injected through it, thus allowing the core to perfectly conform to the confines of the jacket. The HPBT boasts even better balance courtesy of its high degree of jacket concentricity, and its low-drag profile and boat tail further raise its G1 ballistic coefficient to 0.432 (G7 BC 0.222).
This ammunition features Ammo Inc.’s Hyperclean Technology, which is designed to minimize the fouling which gradually makes rifling less effective at stabilizing projectiles.
