Remington Ammunition 125 Grain Pointed Soft-Point (PSP) Ammo Details

For the relatively little that it costs, few hunting rounds are able to deliver quite so much as Remington’s Core-Lokt does. There is no other way that it could have stayed so massively popular for eight entire decades! The key to this 30-06 cartridge’s stellar performance is its 125 grain projectile, a pointed soft point which expands up to double its initial diameter as it tunnels its way through a buck. The core is soundly “lokt” to its copper jacket, so the two retain the majority of their combined weight to guarantee exceptionally deep and debilitating penetration, and the latter is designed especially to complement the bullet’s capacity for wide expansion.

A pointed soft point Core-Lokt bullet has a spitzer shape profile. This gives it a better ballistic coefficient for accordingly greater accuracy and energy to deliver at the moment of impact. Once emptied, this round’s new production brass casing will give you exactly what you like for handloading as well.
