Black Aces Tactical doesn’t do “anemic.” That’s why they load their 12 Gauge shell with nine pellets of 00 buckshot – the standard for law enforcement applications – and paired them with the potent powder they need to achieve a muzzle velocity of 1,450 fps. At close range each hard lead sphere hits its target with more than 200 ft lbs of energy. Multiply that effect by nine and you’ll appreciate why there’s very little this shell can’t tackle.This round’s hull is optimized for smooth performance. Its roll crimp is unusually sturdy, which alongside its slightly tapered mouth promotes extremely reliable feeding in any sort of shotgun. Black Aces also designs their shotshells with high-brass heads. They’re actually made out of steel, but their zinc-plated exteriors cut down on friction to make feeding even smoother as well as help ward off corrosion that could impact overall performance.
