This 20 Gauge shotshell from Winchester’s Blind Side line of ammunition is loaded with 1 1/16 ounces of #5 Hex Shot. Hex Shot has a cubic shape, and its ability to stack closely together means this shell is able to fit significantly more pellets than it could traditional spherical shot. A Hex Shot pellet’s 12 edges effectively cut through feathers and flesh to create a deeper wound channel, making this shell very potent for hunting waterfowl. That Hex Shot is made of steel even further suits it for use around sensitive wetlands.This shell’s diamond cut wad complements its unique shot’s performance to deliver a kill zone that us up to 25 percent wider than a traditional shell could accomplish. This shell further features Winchester’s Drylok Super Steel System, which prevents water from infiltrating it and spoiling its powder. With its 1,300 fps muzzle velocity this shell adequately compensates for steel’s lesser momentum than lead’s, so you’ll have everything you need to start amassing ducks!
