The 20 Gauge is already an excellent choice for shooting trap and skeet thanks to its lesser recoil than the bigger boys’. If you’d like that recoil to be further lessened to the point where it’s nearly imperceptible, then you’re going to love this shotshell from Winchester’s Super Target line of ammunition. Its distinctive hinged wad soaks up a noticeable amount of the punch every shot delivers, making it not only more comfortable to fire, but also easier to make rapid follow-up shots with an over-under or side-by-side.

This shell’s #7.5 shot is a fine one for popping clays in flight -- it has what many consider to be the perfect range and spread for intercepting such targets as they zip away. Winchesrter’s shot is invariably hard, which along with this shell’s even pushing wad will provide the density of shot that accuracy can’t do without. This shell’s banana-yellow hull is happy to be reloaded, and its primer and propellant both burn clean for a happier shotgun in between cleanings.
