The bullet’s full metal jacket toughens it for reliable feeding and target penetration, and staves off bore fouling as well. This round’s uniform brass casing adds to its ability to feed smoothly. This cartridge’s Berdan primer would make reloading it a tricky task, however, and its corrosiveness means you would do better to fire it sooner rather than later!
