These 3 inch shells pack a mighty punch with a load that's perfect for big turkeys, doves, and pheasants at distances that are conventionally considered unreachable! Each of these 12 gauge Rooster XR (eXtended Range) shells comes loaded with a whopping 1-1/4 ounces of #5 copper-plated shot which is adorned by Winchester's "Shot-Lok" technology.
"Shot-Lok" resin is the ultimate buffering media as a hardened material which contains and shields the shot during barrel travel but is shattered to dust particulate shortly after the shot exits the muzzle. This effort combines with the protective effect of the copper plating to deliver perfectly round shot pellets which stick together in a tight pattern for impressive terminal effect on birds taken at long range.
