It’s the one you employ when dealing with annoying pests that would otherwise be hard to draw a bead on. It’s like a shotshell for your everyday carry!

This 9mm round’s projectile is a 45 grain payload of #4 shot. With its 1,000 fps muzzle velocity, its spread and energy are ideal for combatting rodents and small birds at close range. If you add each of its 0.13” diameter pellets’ combined effect together, this round delivers a muzzle energy equivalent to 98 ft lbs -- certainly ample for dealing with nuisance creatures!

CCI’s Big 4 round features an aluminum casing, which is far more economical than a brass one could ever be. This round’s Berdan primer and propellant both burn nice and clean to keep your handgun in peak rat-busting condition. Please be warned that a semi-auto may require manual cycling when running this ammo, and that a ported barrel and compensator are incompatible with shot loads.
