These 3-1/2" turkey shells from Winchester's Long Beard XR series deliver incredible extended range performance thanks to the use of Shot-Lok resin buffers. Shot-Lok is poured into the shell and dries solid, breaking apart when the cartridge is fired to produce a highly protective buffer that all but eliminates pellet deformation. These shells are effective out to 60 yards, a considerable upgrade from the 40 yard range of most turkey loads. Each shell in this box of 10 fires 2-1/8 ounces of #5 birdshot at a muzzle velocity of 1,050 fps.
