This is hotly loaded ammo. It hits hard on both ends. Home defense range, the VersaTite wad keeps all of the pellets in one large ragged hole when fired out of a typical cylinder bore found on most fighting shotguns. Out to 25 yards all pellets land in a 4-5 inch group out of my Benelli M1s90.
