The FMJ’s jacket itself is nonmagnetic, but you couldn’t say the same of the bullet’s steel core.
Magtech is a subsidiary of Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos, a major ammo manufacturer headquartered in São Paulo, Brazil. Their new production 50 BMG is reloadable thanks to its high-quality brass cases, which are very clearly discolored where they were heat-treated for added durability.
