These cartridges are loaded with bantamweight 115 grain full metal jacket projectiles. Their gilding metal jackets contain solid lead cores, which is why this ammo’s bullets will fail to attract a magnet. The FMJ is incapable of terminal expansion. It’s not exactly the sort of bullet anyone would care to get struck by, although we would personally prefer using a JHP bullet for defensive or hunting applications.

Magtech nestles this ammo’s FMJs in steel cases, as you no doubt gleaned while reading this expertly written product description’s first paragraph. The cases are nice and shiny because they are plated with zinc – a metal which also shields steel against moisture and resultant corrosion. This ammo’s noncorrosive primers light up clean-burning powder to deliver a 1,135 fps muzzle velocity out of a 4” barrel.

I’m on my tenth or eleventh case of this ammo. It runs great in my Beretta 92, daggers and Glocks and home brew 9mm AR-15 carbines. It’s accurate and reliable.
