Igman Ammunition 124 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details

It’s a single country in the Balkans, and it is home to Igman – a company which has loaded quality ammunition since 1950, and which currently exports their products to over 50 countries.This is Igman’s standard pressure (not +P) 9mm ammunition, suitable for target shooting, plinking, training, and storing in massive quantities for preparation purposes. Each round is loaded with a 124 grain bullet, which gives it a just barely subsonic muzzle velocity of 1,115 fps. Igman’s bullet cannot attract a magnet, as its core is made of lead-antimony alloy and its jacket is made of copper-zinc alloy – nonferrous metals all around.
The FMJ is certainly capable of neutralizing a threat. It has proven as much on countless battlefields. But if you are looking for self-defense ammo, then you really want something with expanding hollow point bullets.
