Blazer 115 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo Details
Do not use in carbine style firearms. Use in carbine rifles can result in firearm damage and/or serious injury. We always appreciate any opportunity we can get to sing the praises of Blazer! This 9mm round has the Idahoan company’s signature feature: an aircraft grade and heat treated aluminum casing. The earth’s crust is positively lousy with bauxite, to a far greater degree than copper, and as the result aluminum is astoundingly less expensive to produce than brass. That means this 9mm round won’t insidiously chip away at your savings if you decide to fire it all day, which we hope you will. Aluminum is also a lot lighter than brass, so you won’t slip a disc hoisting this case of high quality ammunition. Sure, you can’t reload aluminum, but suppose you don’t handload anyway -- what, in that case, have you got to lose?
This cartridge sports a 115 grain projectile, the same bullet weight many favor for their personal defense loads, so it’ll give you a realistic feel for what you likely chamber in your everyday carry. This round’s primer is made by CCI, and accordingly of the highest quality. That means your training or target shooting session won’t trip up when you encounter a dud!

Was glad ammo was on hand and prices are back down from that near buck a round fiasco. Still not super low yet but reasonable enough here to do some personal restock for personal range & training sessions.
The Blazer Aluminum case is fine for that. The past 23 years of qualifications/trainings on the company dime have been with aluminum case ( Using .40 ~and~ 9mm ), and never had an issue. Also I don't reload, so the savings over brass -for me- is a consideration. I know some could bring into question .40 in Glocks that may not have full support in the chamber and worry about the infamous "ka-booms".... Never had an issue in that regard either, nor ever noticed case bulging in the less supported area. -

While I've always been satisfied with the service and pricing here, I did not realize at the time of this purchase that these were aluminum cases. Be careful, as these may not be allowed at your indoor range. Brass is just a few dollars more, even for 1,000 rounds.
