1000rds – 40 S&W Speer Lawman 125gr. RHT Frangible Ammo

1000rds – 40 S&W Speer Lawman 125gr. RHT Frangible Ammo Details

Training indoors presents certain hazards. If a bullet’s solid lead core or copper jacket hit something as hard as steel or stone, they might react by deflecting back at the shooter – an unfortunate circumstance, to say the least. Worse yet, standard range ammo will release vaporized lead into the air – a toxic miasma.

That’s why the pros train with Speer Lawman. This 40 S&W cartridge features a 125 grain frangible bullet. It’s made of hard, compressed copper powder, so it’s strong enough to remain intact as it feeds and fires but too delicate to do anything more than erupt into benign dust when it strikes an unyielding target or backdrop.

There is no lead in this range cartridge – not in its Clean-Fire primer (which is also free of toxic barium and antimony), and not in its frangible bullet. That means ignition doesn’t produce aerosolized lead when it sparks up, nor does the projectile explode into carcinogenic dust at the end of its trajectory.

This round is optimized to deliver similar recoil and point of aim to self-defense loads, so the time you spend practicing with it will be highly productive. Speer selects their own premium brass, primers, and propellant to create this essential ammo for steel target shooters, so you can bank on reliable, uninterrupted performance during your precious range time.
