1000rds – 380 ACP Tula 95gr. FMJ Ammo

1000rds – 380 ACP Tula 95gr. FMJ Ammo Details

Here’s some special 380 ACP training ammo by Tula of Russia! Tula’s steel cases make this ammo far more cost-effective, simply because they do away with the need for brass cases which contain so much valuable copper. But instead of loading those steel cases with magnetic bullets as per usual, Tula instead gave them steel-free full metal jacket projectiles! The FMJs have lead cores and brass jackets – two metals which do not attract a magnet.

This ammo’s steel cases are a lot less flexible than brass ones. Steel cases will not return to their original dimensions following ignition, which means they cannot be handloaded, and they furthermore permit more residue to enter a semi-automatic handgun’s action. But if you don’t handload and you don’t mind cleaning, those are not huge setbacks.

This ammo’s Berdan primers only make it even less suitable for reloading, although they are still just as non-corrosive as the Boxer primers you’d get in American-made ammo. Twenty boxes to a case!

When we say this ammo is “nonmagnetic,” we are referring only to its bullets. Its steel cases are very much certain to attract a magnet.
