Those two specs are the same as Federal’s HST personal defense load, which makes firing this ammo very instructive. The FMJ’s incapacity for terminal expansion does make it the lesser choice for self-defense, but its smooth-feeding flat nose profile is perfect for when you just want to empty out mags on paper targets.
