I found that after about 200 rounds I began to have problems with the rifle cycling. The rifle stopped cycling at about 225 rounds. The cause of the problem was that the ammo is so dirty that the bolt would not close, in fact it was so dirty you could not push the bolt home. The rifle started clean as can be. It is a 1943 Inland GI M1 Carbine in very good shape, this is new problem I have not had with other ammo. If you buy this ammo and plan to shoot a lot then bring cleaning supplies to the range to keep firing. I swabbed big chunks of carbon from the chamber with a q tip to start cleaning which allowed the rifle to function again. The ammo is acceptably consistent in accuracy for plinking only. I have bought .45 Aguila which suffered the same issue with fouling and inconsistent performance. Only use for plinking. The brass looks to be good for reloading. The 45 brass works well so may the carbine brass.
