First is its 62 grain weight. That’s a bit heftier than normal, which supplies more of the momentum needed to pierce dense musculature. The PSP’s soft point design lets it spread out wide so it can maximize trauma to soft tissue. All very nice (from your perspective, at least – certainly not the quarry’s).
