This package contains 12 rounds of Corbon DPX .500 Smith & Wesson ammunition. Each round is loaded with a 275 grain Barnes X hollow point projectile. Constructed of solid, heat-treated copper, the Barnes X bullets eliminates core/jacket separation, delivering 100 percent weight retention and deep, dependable penetration, even after shot through barriers including clothing, tough hide, or steel.



Barnes X bullets are engineered with a deep forward hollow point cavity that allows the nose to peel back forming four razor-sharp copper petals. When viewed from the front, these petals resemble the letter “X.” This unique shape is what gives the Barnes X its name. Capable of carving a massive wound channel through soft tissue, the expanded Barnes X petals provide effective threat-stopping performance.



This new production ammunition features non-corrosive boxer primers and reloadable aluminum casings. These .50 caliber cartridges produce an impressive muzzle velocity of 1665 feet per second with a powerful 1688 foot pounds of energy, making them a great hunting handgun cartridge capable of taking most species of North American game.
