When we say this is range ammo, we’re simply alluding to the fact that it’s loaded with non-expanding yet economical full metal jacket projectiles. They’re made out of copper and lead, and they accordingly cannot attract a magnet. At 55 grains this ammo’s bullets are all set to treat you to nearly Mach 3 muzzle velocities. (3,180 feet per second equals 2,168 mph – neat!)

Winchester USA 5.56 ammo is brand new – not old milsurp. These rounds have non-corrosive Boxer primers and clean-burning powder, as well as visibly annealed and repeatedly reloadable brass cases. This ammo’s brass only has cosmetic discoloration because it wasn’t polished after being heat-treated; it is not previously fired and reloaded.
