5rds – 12 Gauge Winchester World War II Victory Series M19 Brass 2-3/4" 9 Pellet 00 Buckshot Ammo Details

The 12 Gauge saw plenty of action during the Second World War, especially in the Pacific Theatre -- it’s a weapon you’d want to have if you were surrounded by dense foliage, surely. Winchester’s Model 1912 was especially popular, partly because it could be slam fired in a pinch, and the Model 1897 that had proven itself so effective in the trenches was favored as well. For these shotguns, our soldiers may have been issued M19 shotshells, which were able to stand up to the stress of the battlefield with their all-brass hulls.

Winchester presents this wooden box of five M19 shells from their World War II Victory Series so you can appreciate just what our guys had to work with. They are authentic through and through, with a 1,100 fps muzzle velocity, fiber wadding, and paper top discs, so they’re a much more economical way of enjoying a piece of history without going artifact hunting. It goes without saying that these shells would do you well during a self-defense scenario, but you probably won’t want to squander the beautiful things on anything less important.
