These 12 gauge slugs from Federal are built for duty use and exhibit low recoil without compromising the dependability of semi-automatic shotguns. Each shell is built using Federal's own components including freshly rolled brass heads, clean-igniting 209 primers, and moisture-resistant hulls that are colored blue for easy identification. Inside each round is lead slug which has a standard weight of one ounce and possesses rifled grooves as well as a unique hollow cavity. The Hydra-Shok slug's hollow portion has a small point in its center which helps prevent clogging and produce reliable expansion after penetrating through tough leather and denim.
