This 12 Gauge shotshell from Federal’s Heavyweight TSS line of ammunition is loaded with 1 ¾ ounces of tungsten alloy #9 shot. The density of Heavyweight TSS shot is 56 percent greater than that of lead, and 22 percent more than even that of standard tungsten. The result is not only that this shell can contain so many pellets, but also that it delivers peerless energy at velocities that don’t wane, even over great ranges. When you’re after a rugged and skittish tom, that’s going to make all the difference -- the only way this shell could be more effective would be if it shot cranberry sauce as well.This shell also features Federal’s FliteControl Flex wad. This full-length wad will protect your shotgun’s bore from becoming marred by the hard tungsten alloy shot, and also delivers a tight and consistent pattern. The shell also offers a roll crimp and clear card wad that keeps its buffering securely in place until you’re ready to pull the trigger.

Just got this ammo one week before Florida turkey season. Second day called in 11" bearded tom. Knocked him down at 45 yards with #9. NUMBER NINES! Never even flopped. Get some of this stuff!
