500rds – 6.5 Grendel Wolf Military Classic 100gr. FMJ Ammo Details

There are a lot of benefits to handloading. You get to save money in the long run, you can take satisfaction in firing ammunition of your own creation, and you’ll enjoy a hobby where you can play movies in the background. However, not handloading has its own distinctive benefits as well -- you get to save money up front by purchasing steel cased ammunition, it still functions more or less the same as brass despite its lesser cost, and you don’t have to bother with picking up casings after your target practice has ended.

This cartridge’s 100 grain bullet falls within the normal weight range for its caliber. The round’s bullet’s full metal jacket will enable it to feed smoothly in your semi-automatic weapon, as will its casing’s thin polymer coating. That jacket further prevents rapid lead fouling, so it will maintain your accuracy nicely until you get back home to clean your bore.

The 6.5 Grendel was developed in order to provide a longer effective range than the 50 Beowulf. It’s thus fittingly named -- Grendel was one of Beowulf’s nemeses in the Old English epic story.
