500rds – 5.7x28mm Fiocchi 40gr. Polymer Tip Ammo Details

If the 5.7x28mm is good enough for NATO, then by cracky, it’s good enough for us too! If you’ve been pulling your hair out in frustration over being unable to locate the elusive five-seven, then your ship has finally come in. We’ve got the goods by Fiocchi in stock!

This cartridge’s 40 grain projectile is an average weight for the 5.7x28mm, and accordingly achieves a middle-of-the-road muzzle velocity of 1,750 fps. The bullet’s polymer tip is sharp enough to significantly streamline its ballistic profile, thus promoting the flat trajectory the cartridge is so famous for. But this round’s bullet isn’t just accurate. It’s also effective for self-defense applications, because its concealed hollow point nose cavity immediately springs into action as soon as the bullet sinks into soft tissue.

Fiocchi is an Italian company, but they load these pistol and PCC rounds right here in the USA. Consistent primers and propellant charges guarantee no unwelcome surprises while you’re dumping out a magazine, and high-strength brass cases offer the opportunity to reload your own ammo back at home.

I have used this round on hogs and two deer, I stopped 2 different hogs running, shooting from a airboat, one deer was shot at a angle and it went in in front of a hindquarter and came out the second rib back on the off side
