This is 12 Gauge Estate 2 3/4" Max Dram 9 Pellet 00 Buckshot Ammo. Estate Cartridge has long been a producer of economical but quite effective birdshot loads. Shot some Estate 00 Buck out of my S&W 3000 pump using a 20" barrel. Shells shot clean & caused zero problems with functioning. Patterns were concentric & tight, hitting to POA. At 30' patterns could easily be covered with an open hand. At 50' patterns opened up predictably, but were still concentric & ALL 9 pellets impacted the thoracic cavity of a full-size TQ-19 silhouette target repeatedly. Without reservation, I would use this ammo for home defense, zombie apocalypse, whatever.
