20rds – 7.62x39 Remington Core-Lokt 125gr. PSP Ammo

20rds – 7.62x39 Remington Core-Lokt 125gr. PSP Ammo Details

Are you enlisting your prized SKS this upcoming deer season? Or have you decided to teach wild hogs a serious lesson courtesy of your AK-platform rifle? Then you absolutely can’t do without Remington’s Core-Lokt series 7.62x39mm ammunition! These dedicated hunting cartridges deliver the accuracy and the terminal ballistics that handle medium game without fail!

Most 7.62x39 rounds are loaded with simple FMJs. This round is an exception to that rule. The Core-Lokt pointed soft point features a tapered copper jacket with a tip that exposes its solid lead core. The bullet can easily fan out to double its original diameter before finally coming to a rest, which spells certain doom to any quarry so long as you approach it with good marksmanship. The Core-Lokt PSP’s jacket is mechanically attached to its core, which sufficiently toughens the bullet for deep and effectual penetration.

Once it achieves its advertised muzzle velocity of 2,365 fps, this round’s 125 grain bullet will attain a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.267. That spells 1,000+ ft lbs of striking energy at any point within approximately 157 yards, as well as -14.5” drop at 300 yards after the bullet has passed a 200-yard zero.

Nonmagnetic bullets. Noncorrosive Boxer primers. Reloadable brass cases – and made in America, which is a relatively rare feat for 7.62x39!
